Hcor cuts US$1 million in data center costs through Oracle Cloud

Hcor, a philanthropic hospital in São Paulo, was modernizing its IT environment but was held back by outdated servers, physical infrastructure, and rising data center costs. To support its digital transformation, Hcor turned to Oracle and Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer, seeking more performance, lower latency, and a more secure, in-house cloud model for critical healthcare workloads.

Oracle implemented Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer connected to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, moving Hcor’s workloads and development platforms onto a subscription-based hybrid cloud service. As a result, Hcor expects to save US$1 million over five years, increased IT performance by 20%, doubled security confidence from 47% to 92%, and sped up application delivery 5X, with projects completed faster and monthly output rising from 8 to 14.
