HAVI, a global supply‑chain partner for major food‑service brands, runs 5.8 billion daily supply forecasts down to the ingredient level for 24,000 restaurants worldwide. As data volumes and locations grew, HAVI’s on‑premises infrastructure was running out of capacity and the company needed a cloud‑first, high‑performance solution to keep forecasts timely and accurate.

HAVI consolidated 34 databases onto a one‑quarter‑rack Oracle Exadata X6‑2 and built a hybrid cloud disaster‑recovery path to Oracle Cloud using FastConnect Classic and Equinix Cloud Exchange. The move delivered 25–35% performance gains, secured ~15 TB of archived logs with low‑latency DR and about 35% cost savings, moved backups to OCI to avoid on‑prem expansion, enabled additional workloads without increasing headcount, and provided the elastic scalability needed for future growth.
