Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo (HAPSA), part of Grupo Dagma, is Argentina’s premier racetrack and entertainment venue that needed to modernize its business management. Facing growth—and the addition of two group companies—it wanted to move from on-premises systems to a cloud solution that would standardize processes, support financial and supply-chain needs, and improve transparency and compliance with best-practice management principles.

HAPSA implemented Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP in about seven months, with Oracle Consulting supporting the rollout and fine-tuning. The cloud solution delivered greater operational efficiency and budget controls (eliminating duplicated resources and unnecessary approvals), enabled uninterrupted remote operations and mobile approvals during COVID-19, and reduced costs tied to VPNs and remote-access licenses.
