The company needed to better connect its far-flung operations and drive technology-led innovation to improve guest experiences without increasing prices in the competitive luxury travel market.
Working with Oracle, Grupo Piñero consolidated systems on Oracle Cloud—including Oracle Autonomous Database/Autonomous Data Warehouse, Cloud ERP and Cloud SCM—and deployed an Oracle Digital Assistant. The migration enabled real-time data access across properties and cut query times by 50%, moved many paper/phone tasks to digital self-service (reservations, directions, account checks), and automated daily food purchasing for thousands of guests and staff, eliminating 45,000 printed order vouchers in the first month.
