Grupo Ocupa gains automation, efficiency with Oracle Cloud

Grupo Ocupa, a Manzanillo, Mexico-based port and foreign trade operator, struggled with manual business and HR processes, limited traceability, slow financial reporting, and weak visibility into logistics, sales, and purchasing. The company turned to Oracle Cloud applications, including Oracle Cloud ERP, Oracle Cloud SCM, and Oracle Cloud HCM, to support growth, internal controls, and customer satisfaction.

Oracle implemented a broader suite that also included Oracle Transportation Management, Oracle Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ), and Oracle Sales, helping Grupo Ocupa standardize data, automate workflows, and improve control across operations. Results included cutting data consolidation and validation from nearly two weeks to three or four days, automating nearly 100% of invoicing, reducing inventory work from about a week to one day, and making new-hire data available in less than an hour.
