Grupo OCQ boosts system performance with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

Grupo OCQ, a fast-growing chemical manufacturing group in Brazil and across Latin America, needed stronger infrastructure to support its expanding operations, modernize JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, and replace error-prone Excel-based logistics tracking. The company chose Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and related Oracle services to gain scalable performance and better support for its digital transformation.

With Oracle, Grupo OCQ migrated JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 to OCI, deployed Oracle Analytics Cloud, and integrated Oracle Transportation Management to streamline logistics and reporting. The results were significant: pending tasks that once took nearly 12 hours now take about 2 hours, more than 5X faster, while analytics access improved for non-IT users and the OCI-based VPN enabled a faster, secure remote-work environment.
