Grupo Diagnose modernizes data management with Oracle Cloud

Grupo Diagnose, a Caxias do Sul–based clinical diagnostics lab with nearly 50 years of experience, needed an IT environment able to handle both structured (clinical records, transactions) and unstructured data (forms, notes, images) to support advances in genetics and molecular biology. After suffering from an unstable database and a UPS fire that threatened data loss, the lab sought a safer, always-available platform.

The company migrated its data warehouse to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, using Oracle Database Cloud Service and Object Storage and partnering with TOPDB for implementation and monitoring. The move delivered stable, secure remote operations, streamlined integrated data management for more than 100,000 exams a year (including images), reduced IT overhead, and created a foundation for future diagnostic AI.
