Grupo CIR prepares for growth with Oracle Cloud

Grupo CIR, a Uruguayan group of six companies operating in metallurgy, transportation, industrial equipment, and heating and cooling, wanted to move beyond its on-premises ERP and HR environment and prepare its technology stack for growth. The company chose Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Database Cloud Service to reduce hardware maintenance, lower capital costs, and enable its IT team to spend more time supporting customers.

Oracle implemented the cloud migration and provided support for implementation and customization, with CIR running services and data in Oracle’s São Paulo data center. As a result, CIR improved access to internal systems, reduced some process times from 3 hours to 30 minutes, and delivered faster responses for internal users and customers. Oracle also helped CIR achieve better flexibility and stronger user satisfaction, setting the business up for future growth.
