Grupo Capistrano Alimentari optimizes 90% of its operations with Oracle Cloud

Grupo Capistrano Alimentari, a Mexican producer of cold meats with more than 40 years in business, was facing frequent downtime and inefficiencies from older software that could stop operations for three to four hours a week. The company needed a more reliable, flexible infrastructure to support its plant, distribution centers, and growing export operations, and chose Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Oracle implemented Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to modernize the company’s operations and support its internal team, including the migration of JD Edwards and other applications to the cloud. As a result, downtime was reduced from up to four hours weekly to less than one hour per month, a reduction of more than 90%, helping Grupo Capistrano Alimentari improve productivity and continuity.
