Grupo Aeroméxico, the holding company for 26 aviation subsidiaries and Mexico’s largest airline, needed to replace disparate financial and HR systems to gain group-wide visibility, standardize processes, and improve decision-making. The company struggled with manual consolidation, slow purchase approvals, inconsistent payroll and HR processes across entities, and limited reporting on costs such as crew, maintenance, and layovers.

Working with Oracle Consulting, Grupo Aeroméxico implemented Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 and a suite of Oracle Managed Cloud Services (including Hyperion, Financials, iProcurement, Payroll, HR, and Inventory). As a result it consolidated financials 40% faster (balance-sheet reconciliation from five days to three), automated payroll for ~14,000 employees, rolled out procurement to 1,700 users and eliminated paper so purchases are approved in seconds instead of months, improved inventory fulfillment to same-day delivery, and gained better cost control and scalability.
