Goldman Sachs partners with OCI for enhanced high performance computing

Goldman Sachs partnered with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to address limitations in its traditional data center environment, including lack of elasticity, just-in-time scalability, operational complexity, and fragmented systems. These challenges were constraining agility, innovation, and high performance computing needs.

Oracle implemented OCI with dedicated support from its account and product teams, giving Goldman Sachs better performance, scalability, elasticity, and resiliency, along with flexible compute and no network egress fees. As a result, Goldman Sachs completed an accelerated onboarding and migration, and is now achieving improved price-performance for risk calculations while using less compute resource.
