Globo consolidates the operations of five companies with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP

Globo, the largest communications company in Latin America, began a major transformation in 2018 to unify five previously separate companies, each running its own on-premises finance, administrative, and HR systems. To simplify operations and improve information flow across the business, Globo needed a single IT ecosystem, and turned to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, along with Oracle EPM and HCM.

Oracle implemented the cloud solution to connect finance, procurement, and HR processes in one platform, with support from Accenture and Oracle Consulting. As a result, Globo improved management efficiency, shortened monthly financial close from the seventh to the fifth working day, and cut help desk calls by more than 40% through Oracle Digital Assistant and better employee self-service.
