A Oracle Case Study

Preview of the Global IT Factory Case Study

Global IT Factory turns to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to power its CMS product

Global IT Factory, an Australian SaaS provider for higher education and vocational institutions, needed a cloud-based way to deliver its Curriculum Management System (CMS) as a scalable SaaS offering. The company wanted to reduce on-premises infrastructure costs, improve accessibility and security, and support faster curriculum updates for customers while meeting compliance and accreditation needs. It chose Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Standard Database Service for its platform.

With Oracle, Global IT Factory achieved high availability with zero customer-impacting outages and no negative feedback about application responsiveness. Oracle also helped the team optimize database costs, improve features, and adopt best practices, while supporting co-funded marketing initiatives. Global IT Factory now plans to expand use of Oracle Cloud Guard and OCI Kubernetes Engine (OKE) for automation and scaling, and later add Oracle AI and machine learning services.
