Assicurazioni Generali, a global insurance group with more than 76,000 employees across 50+ local and international branches, faced a decentralized HR landscape with non-standardized data and processes, multiple legacy systems, and limited visibility for group-level workforce planning, succession and mobility. The company needed a single, standardized HR platform and common classifications to enable timely headcount reporting and consistent talent management across its life and P&C businesses.

Generali implemented Oracle HCM Cloud with Oracle Integration, SOA and Database services, partnering with Deloitte to integrate 50+ local HR systems in an eight-month rollout. The cloud solution consolidated HR data, standardized processes and terminology, enabled rapid group-wide headcount reporting and analytics, improved strategic workforce planning and succession, and delivered more consistent performance, talent acquisition and development across the organization.
