Fundación Cardioinfantil is a private, non-profit Colombian hospital that provides free cardiac care to underprivileged children. The foundation relied on paper files stored onsite, which made staff data searches, audits, and performance appraisals slow, error-prone, and vulnerable to loss or unauthorized access—prompting a search for a more efficient, secure solution.

Working with ITIS, Fundación Cardioinfantil implemented Oracle HCM Cloud to digitize and centralize physicians’ records and HR processes. The platform enabled remote, real-time access to data, cut audit response time from days to a few hours, doubled appraisal processing speed, freed clinicians from administrative searches, strengthened data security, and helped the organization meet international healthcare quality standards.
