Food Delivery Brands consolidates its finances on Oracle Cloud

Food Delivery Brands, the global pizza restaurant operator behind brands like Telepizza and Pizza Hut, was struggling with fragmented budgeting and financial planning processes across 2,600 stores and franchises in 36 countries. Its back-office finance systems relied on Excel and multiple inherited tools, making it difficult to consolidate financials, maintain a current view of performance, and make fast decisions. Food Delivery Brands turned to Oracle Cloud, including Oracle Cloud EPM and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, to modernize its finance operations.

Oracle implemented Oracle Cloud EPM and moved the company’s JD Edwards system to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, giving Food Delivery Brands a single source of truth for accounting, planning, consolidation, close, cost management, and reporting. The result was near real-time visibility into month-end close and profit and loss across the business, faster data extraction through Smart View, and much greater efficiency. Food Delivery Brands also reported significantly faster financial analysis and time-to-market innovation, with reduced need for customizations and manual spreadsheet work.
