Florida A&M University, the only public HBCU in Florida, needed to streamline a highly manual financial aid process and better support a student population that is largely Pell-eligible and often requires one-on-one financial guidance. With a small aid office and growing demand, the university turned to Oracle Student Financial Planning to improve efficiency, compliance, and the student experience.
Oracle implemented Oracle Student Financial Planning alongside FAMU’s existing PeopleSoft Campus Solutions environment, giving staff automation, real-time visibility, and secure data integration. As a result, financial aid package delivery dropped from 7–10 days to 2–3 days, award completions rose 37%, and ISIRs loaded and matched increased 22%, helping Oracle and FAMU deliver faster, more personalized financial aid support.
