Case Study: Financial Regulatory Authority achieves paperless, integrated operations with Oracle

A Oracle Case Study

Preview of the Financial Regulatory Authority Case Study

Financial Regulatory Authority Transforms Processes with Oracle

The Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) is Egypt’s regulator for non‑banking financial markets, overseeing capital markets, insurance, leasing, mortgage finance and related sectors. Formed from several merged agencies, the FRA struggled with manual, paper‑based correspondence, duplicated filings, and siloed departments that impeded information sharing and customer service. The authority needed to centralize document distribution, eliminate paper, harmonize internal and external interfaces, and move its data center to the cloud to boost productivity and customer focus.

Using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle WebCenter, Oracle Business Process Management, SOA Suite and Service Bus, and other Oracle platform services, implementation partner Wind Integrated Solutions delivered a one‑stop, paperless platform and integration layer—soft‑launched in 10 months. The migration to a cloud test/dev/staging environment completed with zero downtime after comprehensive testing, enabling automated workflows, seamless interdepartmental collaboration, faster mobile app development, improved regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction, and reduced capital and operational costs.
