A Oracle Case Study

Preview of the Experian Case Study

Experian improves data workloads with Oracle Cloud

Experian, the global information services company, needed a scalable and secure data platform to handle rapidly growing, real-time data demands across credit, fraud, and analytics workloads. Using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Experian aimed to unify data and analytics from on-premises systems and other clouds into a single lakehouse architecture while improving speed, flexibility, and cost efficiency.

Oracle implemented OCI lakehouse services, including Oracle Exadata Cloud Service, Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse, Object Storage, Big Data Service, Data Flow, and Data Science, with support from Oracle Cloud Lift Services. As a result, Experian migrated workloads such as fraud detection and financial analytics without re-engineering, achieving a 40% performance increase, a 60% cost reduction, and greater reliability and resilience.
