A Oracle Case Study
Evernote, the Redwood City–based app that helps individuals and teams capture and sync ideas across devices, needed to move its production services to Google Cloud Platform without disrupting service or degrading performance. The challenge was to migrate compute and storage infrastructure gradually while maintaining a consistent user experience for millions of users worldwide.
Using Dyn Traffic Director, Evernote implemented advanced traffic management—ratio load balancing to shift traffic in controlled phases and geolocation load balancing to isolate and troubleshoot regional issues. The approach enabled a seamless transition to GCP with continuous availability and consistent application performance across geographies.
