Estonian IT Centre (RIT) offers key government cloud services on OCI

The Estonian State IT Center needed a highly available, scalable platform to support critical government cloud services while keeping sensitive citizen data compliant with Estonia and EU data residency and security rules. As it worked to advance Estonia’s government cloud and digital public services, it turned to Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer and Oracle EU Sovereign Operations to meet these sovereignty requirements.

Oracle implemented Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer in the customer’s data center, operated by the Oracle EU Sovereign Operations team, to keep data stored and processed within EU borders while delivering cloud-like flexibility and performance. Oracle Zero Downtime Migration helped move critical workloads with minimal disruption, giving the Estonian State IT Center advanced Oracle Database performance, high availability, and compliance benefits that conventional public cloud resources could not provide.
