Esfera aims for market leadership in customer loyalty with Oracle Cloud

Esfera Fidelidade S.A., the Banco Santander loyalty platform in Brazil, wanted to improve the customer experience and retention but was limited by a complex rewards journey and the need for a scalable, secure e-commerce platform to handle peak events like Black Friday. To rebuild its shopping and rewards experience, Esfera chose Oracle, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Commerce.

Oracle implemented a cloud-native platform on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure with OCI Kubernetes Engine and Oracle Commerce, enabling Esfera to relaunch as an online marketplace with more than 100,000 products and services. The result was a faster, more resilient operation with 50% lower infrastructure TCO than competing clouds, partner integrations completed in weeks instead of up to nine months, and a rollout delivered in six months.
