Equity Residential is an S&P 500 owner and manager of 304 luxury apartment properties (78,410 units) with a $35 billion portfolio in major U.S. markets. To attract and retain talent and provide a consistent employee experience, the company needed to replace on‑premises PeopleSoft and Taleo systems with a single, modern HR platform that could handle complex requirements and unify HR data.

Equity Residential implemented Oracle Cloud HCM—using its configurable tools and recruiting module to build a branded careers site—and worked with Baker Tilly to manage the rollout. The cloud solution centralized HR records, enabled remote access, unified reporting and dashboards for leaders, and delivers automatic updates, helping the company make faster, data‑driven talent decisions.
