Empresas SB is a Chilean holding that operates nearly 500 health, beauty, and wellness stores and service locations with about 10,000 employees. Facing fragmented legacy systems, growing transaction and product data from hundreds of sites, and the need for a highly available, scalable platform, the company sought better reporting, faster online sales and prescription handling, and improved customer-service responsiveness to support decision making and operations.

Empresas SB implemented an integrated Oracle stack—including Oracle Exadata, Oracle E‑Business Suite, Oracle Service Cloud, SOA Suite, and BPM—to consolidate data, migrate core applications, and modernize customer care. The overhaul delivered a unified enterprise data warehouse and greater reliability, cut large-reporting times from 90 to 10 minutes, reduced transaction processing from seven seconds to two, and sped customer-response times from three–four days to one day, improving analytics, scalability, and overall customer experience.
