Eldorado Brazil improves financial agility with Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM

Eldorado Brazil, one of the world’s largest cellulose companies, was struggling with a highly customized planning system that caused performance issues and made updates difficult. As a result, accounting consolidation and other finance tasks were still being handled manually in spreadsheets, and more than 50 explanatory-note tables for quarterly statements took many hours to prepare. Eldorado Brazil turned to Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM to address these challenges.

Oracle implemented Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM, including modules for budgeting, consolidation, reconciliation, and explanatory note generation, with support from partner EBS IT. The solution improved governance and visibility, centralized finance data, and reduced manual effort dramatically: report creation that once took four to eight hours could now be done in seconds, and monthly cash flow and free cash flow reporting dropped from a three-month cycle to a much faster automated process.
