DXC Technology, a global technology services provider, needed to reduce data fragmentation across locations and applications while finding better ways to use AI for automation and productivity. The company also wanted a more efficient platform for its IMDS SaaS application, which helps automotive manufacturers manage material compliance, and chose Oracle Autonomous Database on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Oracle implemented Oracle Autonomous Database on OCI for DXC Technology, enabling separate test, development, and production environments at lower cost while simplifying database management and improving security and performance. With Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing and Oracle Database capabilities, DXC modernized data integration across structured, unstructured, and real-time data, removed complex data engineering, and delivered insights to customers faster; it is also developing AI chatbots and semantic search tools to further improve support and data quality.
