Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan Ltd. (DIBPL), a subsidiary of Dubai Islamic Bank, operates 200 branches and 43 branchless booths across Pakistan and employs about 2,950 people. To support rapid branch growth, meet strict banking compliance, and improve HR productivity and user adoption, DIBPL replaced its legacy Harmony system and needed to integrate core banking with HR processes including payroll, talent and performance management, and reporting.
Working with partner Jaffer Business Systems, DIBPL implemented Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2.4 (HR, Payroll, Self‑Service HR, iRecruitment, Performance and Learning modules) within 10 months and on budget. The integrated ERP delivered major efficiency gains: payroll runs are now up to 9x faster (about 20 minutes vs. up to 3 hours), MIS/HR reports run in minutes instead of hours, HR headcount for employee relations was halved, recruitment is automated, talent visibility improved, and regulatory compliance and data accuracy were strengthened.
