A Oracle Case Study
Dubai Holding LLC is a global investment conglomerate (est. 2004) with more than 20,000 employees across 24 countries and a diversified portfolio spanning tourism, hospitality, real estate, ICT, media, education, and financial services. Rapid growth and a complex group structure created challenges: Dubai Holding needed a unified chart of accounts and ledger architecture for enterprise-wide financial visibility, greater organizational agility, streamlined supplier and contract management for large construction projects, and modernized HR and training processes to attract and retain talent while reducing management overhead.
Dubai Holding upgraded to Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1 (implemented by Tech Mahindra with Oracle support) and deployed Oracle Financials, HRMS, iProcurement, Oracle Learning Management, GRC, and SPARC hardware. The reimplementation standardized codes and reporting, simplified intercompany reconciliation with AGIS, enabled daily revenue recognition for multi-project allocations, automated HR self-service and payroll, centralized training and succession planning, and automated procurement and contract workflows—delivering faster reconciliations, lower administration costs, improved transparency and auditability, and increased agility to support growth and innovation.
