A Oracle Case Study
Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction (DHIC), one of Korea’s largest EPC contractors, needed to modernize access for 8,000 internal employees and 4,000 external partner users as mobile demand surged for job orders, approvals, and smart‑factory apps. While DHIC already used Oracle Access Manager and Microsoft Active Directory for employees, it lacked a flexible identity and access management solution for external users and needed a secure, scalable way to protect sensitive construction and inspection data.
DHIC implemented Oracle Identity Cloud Service, Oracle Mobile Cloud/ Mobile Hub, Oracle SOA and Application Container Cloud to integrate existing credentials, apply role‑based authorization, and simplify mobile app delivery. The solution enabled secure, seamless access across internal and partner users, rolled out 12 mobile applications in one year with no failures, tightened control over confidential reports, and supported faster digital transformation and cross‑country collaboration.
