Dolphin Fitness strengthens its ecommerce platform with Oracle HeatWave on OCI

Dolphin Fitness, a retailer connecting health and fitness brands with consumers, wanted to improve the scalability of its ecommerce platform and better manage growing user-generated content with AI. After testing Google App Engine and finding it too complex with scalability limits, the company chose Oracle HeatWave on OCI to replace its on-premises infrastructure.

Oracle implemented HeatWave MySQL as a fully managed database service, helping Dolphin Fitness improve system scalability and productivity. The company also plans to use Oracle HeatWave GenAI to summarize product reviews and enhance search, and HeatWave Lakehouse to analyze content in object storage, extending the platform’s capabilities.
