Case Study: DoDream System achieves 4x e‑library capacity and cuts maintenance costs with Oracle Platform as a Service

A Oracle Case Study

Preview of the DoDream System Case Study

DoDream System Increases E-Library System Capacity by 4x with Oracle PaaS

DoDream System is a Seoul‑based IT developer that provides electronic library, asset management, and web services to public‑sector customers. Facing growth and plans for overseas sales, the company needed a more flexible, scalable cloud platform to boost reliability and performance for its Oracle Database–based solutions, while cutting the resources and maintenance costs of supporting about 100 customer sites and ensuring rapid technical support and high availability.

With Oracle engineering support, DoDream migrated from Microsoft Azure to Oracle Public Cloud Services and Oracle Database Cloud Service in three months. The move increased e‑library capacity (memory and storage) by 4x, enabled management of up to 400 sites (lowering operating costs), automated database administration to reduce maintenance headcount from 50 to 7, improved application performance and availability, provided 24/7 support, and opened new global market and service opportunities via Oracle’s platform and marketplace.
