Discngine advances life sciences research more securely with OCI

Discngine, a Paris-based life sciences software and services company, helps pharmaceutical, biotech, and cosmetic manufacturers accelerate early drug discovery with an R&D platform. As its cloud-native research projects grew, Discngine faced the challenge of securing highly sensitive scientific data while managing 150 to 200 open source containers and lengthy server patching and compliance processes. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) was chosen to improve security and operational efficiency.

With Oracle OCI, Discngine implemented integrated security services including Oracle Autonomous Linux, OCI Vault, Cloud Guard, and APEX to strengthen its R&D SaaS platform and simplify compliance. Oracle helped reduce customer environment deployment time from 5 to 7 days to just 1.5 hours, increased IT focus on development instead of administration, and supported ISO 27001:2013 certification in 18 months.
