Deutsche Bahn drives HR process development with Oracle HCM

Deutsche Bahn, Germany’s national railway and mobility and logistics provider, needed a new HR performance management system to align employee goals with its “Strong Rail” strategy, improve instant feedback, and strengthen succession planning and internal mobility. To meet these needs, Deutsche Bahn chose Oracle HCM, specifically Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management, along with Oracle Consulting and Oracle Guided Learning.

Oracle implemented MyPerformance Management on Oracle Performance Management and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, plus MyImpuls Feedback and Oracle Succession Planning to modernize HR processes across the company. The results included 57,000 feedback messages since launch, more than halving the time to fill vacancies, around 10,000 self-nominations for over 1,000 successor roles, and about 80% of managers discovering candidates they did not know before.
