Denso Techno Reduces Vehicle Noise Analysis Time by 5x on Oracle Cloud

Denso Techno, part of the Denso group, needed a faster way to run complex vehicle noise analysis and fluid simulation for automotive design. Its on-premises HPC environment was too slow, with some calculations taking more than 15 days, making frequent analysis difficult as demand for quieter EV-related components grew.

Oracle implemented Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Cloud Compute to support Denso Techno’s HPC workloads. With Oracle, calculation time dropped from 15 days to 3 days, a 5X improvement, while costs were cut by nearly 50%, enabling faster and more efficient simulation-driven design.
