DenizBank Ensures Zero Disruption in Customer Transactions for Card Payment Systems Infrastructure by Leveraging Advanced Support Services

DenizBank, a major Turkish retail bank, needed to physically relocate its card payment systems to a new data center without interrupting customer transactions or risking data integrity. The challenge was to guarantee 100% availability of electronic payments during migration, anticipate failures from powering down and moving servers, and prevent any disruption to branches, online services, or back-office operations.

Working with Oracle and partner Intertech, DenizBank used an active/active Oracle Real Application Clusters setup with Oracle Clusterware and Oracle Advanced Customer Support (including a dedicated Technical Account Manager) to plan and execute a phased node-by-node move. The team relocated database nodes, storage, and networking within hours, achieved zero downtime, reduced priority-1 service requests by 90% during migration, and restored fully redundant payment services rapidly—ensuring uninterrupted transactions and preserving revenue and customer satisfaction.
