Deinland Solar accelerates app development with Oracle Autonomous Database 23ai

Deinland Solar is a German solar energy startup that builds photovoltaic systems for commercial customers, and it needed a faster way to identify rooftops and open spaces suitable for solar installations. Using Oracle Autonomous Database 23ai and Oracle APEX, the company created its ENIGNUM mapping and analysis application to combine spatial, energy, and property data so sales teams could quickly assess solar potential and generate proposals.

Oracle implemented a solution centered on Oracle Autonomous Database 23ai with Oracle Spatial on OCI, enabling rapid processing of large geospatial datasets and nearly zero-maintenance operations. The result was major scale and speed gains: Oracle helped Deinland Solar manage 150 million spatial objects, refresh up to 30 million daily, and automate about 95% of DBA tasks, allowing its one-person development team to build and expand the app much faster.
