Comercial Zaffari strengthens security and availability with Oracle Exadata

Comercial Zaffari, a retail and wholesale supermarket chain in Brazil, needed to improve IT reliability, efficiency, and security to support regulatory compliance and planned expansion from 10 stores to 14 more. The company turned to Oracle Exadata Database Machine and Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance to consolidate critical database workloads for its point-of-sale, ERP, and HR applications.

Oracle implemented Exadata and Recovery Appliance solutions to strengthen resilience and minimize disruption, while also enabling cost-effective disaster recovery with Exadata Database Service on OCI. As a result, Comercial Zaffari improved its ability to withstand security incidents, reduced its Recovery Point Objective to less than 1 minute, and lowered the risk of data loss.
