A Oracle Case Study
Cohu, a long-established maker of semiconductor test and handling equipment, had grown through acquisitions that left each business unit running its own legacy back‑office systems and processes. To become “One Cohu,” the company set out to standardize on common cloud systems, shared services, and processes to boost efficiency, scale more quickly, and present a unified identity.
In February 2020 Cohu moved to an integrated Oracle Cloud stack (ERP, SCM, HCM, and CPQ) with implementation partner Inspirage. The change gave executives company‑wide visibility into orders, invoices, and receivables, simplified supply‑chain workflows across locations, improved early supplier quality tracking, and accelerated integration of acquired companies—while shifting IT from system maintenance to using Oracle’s quarterly updates to drive business transformation and supporting remote work during the pandemic.
