Cognizant, a multinational technology company, needed to modernize its aging financial data warehouse and analytics environment as data demands grew and its on-premises infrastructure neared end of life. Cognizant chose Oracle Cloud, including Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse and Oracle Analytics Cloud, to support this transition.

With Oracle, Cognizant migrated terabytes of data to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure without code changes and cut platform costs by $2.5 million over three years. Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse improved performance, security, and disaster recovery while reducing database management effort by half, and disaster recovery setup dropped from hours to less than eight minutes. Oracle Analytics Cloud also gave users stronger reporting and visualization tools, helping them make better decisions faster.
