A Oracle Case Study
The College of Architects of Madrid (COAM) represents more than 10,000 affiliate architects and derives revenue from membership fees, seals of approval, training, and cultural events. Faced with a heavily customized, outdated on‑premises ERP and many manual finance and procurement processes, COAM needed greater agility and a rebuild of its financial and purchasing workflows.
COAM moved to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to automate processes and consolidate data. The change enabled bulk loading of recurring bills, automated remittance advices, and a seven‑day faster monthly close, while Fusion Cloud Procurement added end‑to‑end purchase‑order traceability. Standard dashboards and an AEAT communications gateway improved reporting and VAT filing, and COAM is integrating other Oracle applications and using scorecards to extend common processes and drive further efficiencies.
