CNAF enriches France’s national housing assistance program with Oracle Service

CNAF, France’s National Office for Family Allocations, manages social benefits for more than 30 million beneficiaries and needed a faster, more transparent way to calculate allowances. Its legacy mainframe-based process was time-consuming and struggled to keep up with government reforms that increased the volume of claims, so CNAF turned to Oracle Service, including Oracle Intelligent Advisor, to automate self-calculation and improve the citizen experience.

With Oracle, CNAF expanded automated eligibility and allowance calculations to housing support and related benefits, delivering estimates in less than one second and supporting 11 million citizens with automatic benefit estimates. Oracle Service also met the benchmark of loading and processing data for 7 million housing allowance applicants in 19 hours, while Oracle Knowledge Advanced helped reduce call center workload, served 500,000 monthly users, and significantly cut customer emails.
