Classic Travel, the leading corporate travel agency in Sri Lanka and part of the Expolanka Group, needed a better way to unify scattered business data, speed up reporting, and gain clearer insight into customer behavior and market trends as it expanded into new travel segments and international markets. The company turned to Oracle, using Oracle Analytics Cloud on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) along with Oracle Base Database Service to support growth, improve decision-making, and modernize its IT environment.

Oracle implemented a single cloud-based analytics platform on OCI that streamlined reporting, enabled self-service access for business users, and improved marketing and strategic planning. The results included reporting time cut from three hours to under 30 minutes, up to 70% time savings for users, nearly 50% cost savings from moving off on-premises systems, and business growth that tripled in the following financial year. Oracle also helped Classic Travel run more effective campaigns, including one with the Singapore Tourism Board that generated over 3.5 million impressions and hundreds of inquiries.
