A Oracle Case Study
Circulor builds AI- and blockchain-powered solutions to trace the provenance of critical minerals—like cobalt, tantalum, and tungsten—through complex consumer electronics and electric vehicle supply chains. Faced with rapidly growing demand, opaque sourcing in Central Africa, and pressure from consumers and regulators to prove ethical sourcing and eliminate child labor and other abuses, manufacturers needed a reliable way to verify and demonstrate where raw materials originate.
Circulor deployed a permissioned distributed ledger on Oracle Blockchain Platform (Hyperledger Fabric) with smart contracts and a Circulor Protocol that enforces GPS, facility accreditation, and personnel verification; it digitizes batches, records immutable chain-of-custody data, and applies AI to detect anomalies. The result is tamper‑proof, end‑to‑end transparency from mine to recycling, substantially lower compliance and due‑diligence costs, faster time to market, and easier regulatory and market access for miners and manufacturers.
