A Oracle Case Study
China International Finance (SINOIF) is a diversified financial-services group with licenses in commercial factoring, financial leasing, private funds, and asset management that is expanding into new domestic and international markets. To support aggressive growth and meet stringent cross‑border regulatory requirements, the company needed integrated, automated planning and financial management to standardize processes, improve profitability and capital‑flow analysis, and strengthen risk prediction for trade finance, asset management and credit guarantees.
Within about six months SINOIF implemented Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle Cloud EPM (Planning and Financials), with IBM as implementation partner, to automate end‑to‑end financial processes and consolidate budgeting and reporting. The solution delivered compliance with international accounting standards, real‑time visibility into capital use and project profitability, more accurate forecasts and faster month‑end close, role‑based dashboards and ad‑hoc reporting for tailored client proposals, and the ability to run real‑time what‑if scenarios—helping the company reduce risk, seize profitable opportunities and accelerate international expansion.
