CATRION strengthens data security with Oracle Database and GoldenGate

CATRION, a leading provider of culinary and hospitality services serving Saudia and more than 115 other airlines, needed to better protect its data and IT systems from cyberthreats while improving performance and stability. The company also had to meet Saudi National Cybersecurity Authority requirements for data availability and encryption, and it used Oracle Database as part of its platform modernization.

Oracle helped CATRION move its in-house catering platform to Oracle Database Appliance and deploy Oracle GoldenGate for real-time replication across five regional data centers. Oracle Advanced Security added data encryption, improving business resiliency, disaster recovery, data availability, and consistency while supporting regulatory compliance.
