Hosted on AWS with Oracle Database 12c, the platform experienced connection resets, delayed submissions, and complaints during peak mock-test periods, forcing IT staff to work around the clock. Career Launcher turned to Oracle and its Oracle Autonomous Database and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to find a more resilient, scalable solution.

Oracle migrated the production databases to Oracle Autonomous Database for transaction processing with minimal downtime and helped integrate the environment with OCI. The result was better reliability and performance for the student-facing application, fewer complaints during peak load, improved autoscaling and lower maintenance costs, and a 25% reduction in infrastructure costs compared with AWS.
