Camerite Sistemas, a cloud-based video surveillance provider in Brazil, wanted to grow its service while lowering infrastructure costs and cutting latency for faster access to live camera images. To support its safety-monitoring platform, the company turned to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) after finding its previous cloud setup too expensive and difficult to scale flexibly.

Oracle implemented Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to localize data in Brazil, improve scalability with incremental resource increases, and simplify pricing. As a result, Camerite cut operating costs by 25%, reduced latency by almost half, and improved surveillance performance and customer response times; it also expects more than 50% in savings over the next two years.
