Brocade Communications Systems Supports Tripling of Workforce, Enhances Talent Management with Cloud-Based Human Resources

Brocade Communications Systems, a leading provider of network solutions used by more than 90% of Global 1000 data centers, nearly tripled its workforce through acquisitions and needed to automate and streamline goal and performance management, workforce compensation, and multicountry HR processes without heavy customizations. The company sought a cloud-based HCM solution that would scale quickly and integrate with its existing Oracle E-Business Suite.

Brocade implemented Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud (including Workforce Compensation, Goal Management, Talent, and Performance services) in about seven months with a small internal team, achieving seamless integration and high system availability. The cloud deployment gave managers better visibility and control, standardized goal-setting and compensation planning, freed HR to focus on strategic priorities, supported collaboration for 4,300 employees, and delivered improved retention and cost savings.
