Bellevue University modernizes PeopleSoft apps with Oracle Autonomous Database

Bellevue University, a private nonprofit university near Omaha, Nebraska, was running critical PeopleSoft Campus workloads on an outdated Oracle Database 12c. This created challenges around performance, availability, and the maintenance and security risks tied to student enrollment, financial aid, class scheduling, and registration systems.

To address this, Bellevue University upgraded to Oracle Autonomous Database on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) with support from Oracle Customer Success Services. Oracle’s solution improved performance, business continuity, and productivity, with complex queries dropping from hours to seconds, class enrollment processing becoming 50% faster, and batch processing improving by 44%.
