B3 builds SaaS brokerage platform on Oracle Exadata Database Service

B3, the Brazilian financial market infrastructure company behind the SINACOR brokerage management application, needed to move away from legacy on-premises software that created version control, performance, and maintenance issues. To modernize its brokerage platform and deliver it as a cloud service, B3 turned to Oracle Exadata Database Service and OCI cloud-native services, including OCI Kubernetes Engine and Oracle Container Instances.

Oracle helped B3 rebuild SINACOR as a cloud-native application on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, giving the platform the performance and reliability needed to serve nearly the entire Brazilian brokerage market. The new solution processed 20 million transactions per day and delivered 4X faster transaction processing, while also enabling same-day availability of trading and settlement data and faster innovation for B3.
